ORCHID LEAVES
This collection is entirely inspired by the sponteneity and fluidity of nature.
The metal pieces I make by hand, are formed from dried orchid leaves in silver with 22k gold accents and cubic zirconia embellishments. Each finished leaf determines the composition of the design and my selection of semi-precious stones, hand died silk, buckskin or chain.
I hope for these leaves to look and feel like they are hanging in the balance, caught in time, suspended in a dream state... like floating on water, dripping from a vine or tangled in mid air.
